New Boat Arriving in 2008 [ Enter your description here ] Quintrex Top Ender We chose the Quintrex Top Ender 5.25 Metre with the New Millennium Hull because of its capacity to carry up to three anglers,fishing in comfort and safety. This is a versatile all-round craft ideally suited to both enclosed and open waters, offering great performance all round, with the Millennium Hull, Maxi 2 Transom and Flared Bow all working in combination. This hull Includes positive flotation, wash deck and enclosed side pockets, rod racks, under floor storage, side console and canopy for maximum passenger comfort. Quintrex's Flared Bow and Millennium Hull have been incorporated with a barra-boat interior, resulting in a soft, riding rig. For sports anglers, they're literally the "top" of the range and suited to a variety of fishing environments, fresh or salt water. Southwind Stealth Our other boats are quite different, in fact the Southwind Stealth is an experience in itself! The Stealth is a purpose built sportsfishing boat that delivers all the benefits of fibreglass boats with the advantages of an improved ride in rough water and excellent stability during fishing. The Stealth is equally at home on top of a rough chop with a roaring 10-15 knots westerly, or sliding smoothly over mirror calm flats in pursuit of spooky game fish. Southwind have been keenly aware of a growing interest amongst fishermen in the stealth advantages presented by a fibreglass hull with under floor foam as opposed to much noisier aluminium hulls. In regularly fished areas there is no doubt that the fibreglass/foam/4-stroke combination delivers real advantages around sensitive fish. The dory offers fishermen the ability to sneak out to inshore grounds, handle serious chop without discomfort, and enjoy the stability created by a solid self draining hull with a beam of 2.29m and wide reversed chines. The boat gives northern fishermen a hull that will run hard for coastal trips then deliver a perfect platform when tropical creeks are accessed. It is also an excellent hull for the larger impoundment's when strong winds create chop best handled by a solid deep "V" hull. Not the least of its advantages is the unusually dry nature of the hull in strong winds and choppy water. We have had the Stealth at speeds in excess of 45km per hour in solid chop with four on board. The ride and safety are sensational, and the boat is very dry except in the most exceptional winds. Our boats are side console with fully carpeted decks and sides. The under floor storage is awesome, and combined with a spacious rod locker for your fishing rods, there is no reason for anything to be carried above decks to catch rapidly disappearing fly lines! more info . . .
