The Lodge is a spacious, cool and relaxing retreat from the warm tropical climate. It is set amongst acres of lush lawns surrounded the swaying palms of a tropical garden. A magnificent ambience in which to relax after a successful day on the water.
Each private area has its own spacious living area spanning the length of the building, with bedrooms on either side, and open at each end. Recent renovations allow cooling breezes through the easterly end, a refreshing remedy to the tropical climate.
Munupi Wilderness Lodge provides comfortable air conditioned rooms for the whole family. Rooms contain three single beds; or one double and a single bed. Each room contains a dressing table with draws, towel racks and plenty of hanging space. Hair dryers are also fitted in some of the rooms.
Feel at home in one of the many comfortable lounge chairs as you wind down at the end of an exciting day. A TV is available with a range of DVD’s and videos, as well as a Sony Play Station with all the latest games for the kids. The office has Phone, Fax, Email and Internet facilities available for guests on a user pays basis. Urgent supplies can be freighted over on the daily plane from Darwin.
Watch the sunset fade soaking in the thatched roofed spa or down at the jetty. Reflect on a great day on the water with a drink in hand and smile on your face.
